I'm Obsessed With This Book!

This book has been on my TBR basically since it came out, and I just never got around to it. Now I cannot believe I let myself go this long without reading the book! Alessandra is everything I want in a bada** female heroine/anti-hero who will stop at nothing to get what she wants. She dresses how she wants, acts how she wants, and in many ways is the type of person that I strive to be. I also can't deny that I am a sucker for enemies to lovers romance, especially when there's a dark and brooding male character like Kallias. I'm so torn, I both desperately want to get more of this story and more of Alessandra and Kallias, but I also never want the beauty that is this book to be ruined for me.

New favorite book for sure! Absolutely love the characters and this copy was brand new, 0 wear. It was wonderful.

Fantastic

Seriously, this was totally new! Morally ambiguous characters are not my jam usually but I was pretty much loving Alessandra from the first page. It was a perfect slow burn romance, with royal intrigue galore! The ONLY thing I wished for is an epilogue to show Kallias and Alessandra ruling their empire.

Oh my gosh! Fantastic stand alone novel!

What I enjoyed most about the novel was that the main anti hero was absolutely confident in who she was as both a woman and a person. The author does an amazing job of writing her as a character you can imagine yourself wanting to follow. I finished the book in less than 24 hours because I could not put it down. Mystery, romance, intriguing people. It has it all and more! Love Love it!
