The Shadow on the Wall

By: Berglund, Machelle

In the dead of the night, as you awake from a peaceful sleep, you see a shadow in the periphery of your vision. Oh no Is it coming closer?
Oh, thank goodness It was just another shadow on the wall.

Inside the pages of "The Shadow on the Wall", the shadows are more than a mere illusion. They become real. As do skeletons, witches, ghosts and more.

Each poem was crafted to tell a tale of these ghastly figures of Halloween and horror legend. Whether these poems cause you to feel the chill grip of fear deep within your spine or cause you to let loose a gruesome giggle as your eyes wander through the pages, I'll leave up to you.

Reader beware For the words just may ensnare you with their monstrous claws.
