Gender identity is a concept that encompasses common social behaviors, structured roles, and psychological attitudes related to being male or female. Thus, apart from being related to physical concepts (such as the composition of chromosomes, male or female sexuality, and in the form of physical male or female appearance), it also encompasses psychological characteristics and social and cultural structures. However, sexual identity first forms with specific chromosomal constituents in the embryo and we are known as male or female.
