Jamal, an 18-year-old scholarship student who has always felt invisible, reads the rules twice, laughs once, and then stops laughing.
He is tired of being overlooked-tired of watching the cheerleaders glide past in their short skirts, bodies perfect and untouchable, laughing with boys who never had to fight for anything.
He closes the book, slips it into his backpack, and decides to test it on someone small-then, if it works, the whole cheerleading squad. One by one. Building affection with charm, gifts, and heroics until every name is written, every body his.
