Have you ever counted the waves while standing on the shore? They do not all come in the same. There is one that is unique. It hesitates while it builds. When it feels it is ready, it rolls onto the shore with more strength, bigger, higher than the other six before it. Whatever it hits when it comes ashore, it wants to claim for it own and carry it out to the deepest parts of the sea. If you are standing there when it comes, it will warn you with its loud crack and roar. If you wish to remain free of its grasp, you must either cling to the sand or retreat from its approach. No matter which you choose, you will not be the same. Regardless of whether you give up your control and you yield to it or if you stand your ground and let it go back to the sea empty-handed, you will be changed. This story is a metaphor of how the sea is much like our experiences along our life's path. It shows how the Seventh Wave is the climax to the many decisions we are asked to make. Count your waves.
