It's a question that I have been asking myself for a very long time... it's a question that has shaped my entire existence. But it's a question that poses more questions than answers.

Have you ever made a promise to a friend that you instantly regretted? Well, I have.
I regret it every time I have to walk these halls and try to connect with the person I'm charged to protect. I was making new friends, learning the lay of the land. Reminiscing on the days when my friend was still around. Everything was running smoothly.. ok, I won't lie, it was going nowhere. This all felt like a waste of my time, almost like I was waiting.
But overall, it was a lot easier before all the tall, dark handsomes showed up and set things into motion that I'd prayed wouldn't.
