THE SEVEN ESSENTIAL RULES OF MARRIAGE

The seven essential rules of marriage consists of 3 for the wife, and 4 for the husband. In outline form, the 3 essential rules for the wife are:

1.Obey your husband. (Eph 5:22, 5:23, 5:24, Col 3:18, Titus 2:5, 1 Pet 3:1)

2.Respect your husband. (Eph 5:33)

3.Give your husband sex when he wants it. (1 Cor 7:5)

The 4 essential rules for the husband are:

1.Love your wife greatly. (Eph 5:25-29,33)

2.Do not be harsh, but rather be considerate to your wife. (Col 3:19)

3.Give your wife sex when she wants it. (1 Cor 7:5)

4.Raise your children in the instruction of the Lord. (Eph 6:4)

It is important to realize that these are NOT suggestions these are commandments from God. If these commandments are disobeyed then you are not disobeying man. You are disobeying God Himself.

God gives us these rules for a reason and for our benefit and blessing. If you disobey these commands from God then that is when problems occur in a marriage or family.
