Andrea and Vivan, two individuals from broken and dysfunctional families end up doing mass shootings a week apart from each other in a city of the United States, both shootings end up killing several individuals. Andrea and Vivan are arrested alive and are prisoned in the cells next to each other, through a wall they can hear each other and tell the story of their life to each other including why they did the shooting? and what circumstances led them to do it?
They open their wounds, insecurities, and vulnerability to each other. In prison a love story of Vivan and Liam, the officer who arrested him, develops. In the later part of the novel, Andrea and Vivan learn, Mathew, Andrea's husband, and father of her two children Kyle and Kylie, has been a common lover of both Vivan and Andrea. The novel is about revenge, displacements, lamentations, regrets, unfulfilled desires, and love.
