don steine review

a wonderful and thought provoking blend of astronomy, physics, history, and humanity. heartily recommended for the intellectually curious. dr alceck is to be congratulated on his work which presents complex subjects in a way that ordinary folks can comprehend. i found of particular interest his treatment of the evolution and vastness of our universe and what lies or may lie beyond. and his thoughts on the relationship between science and religion is stimulating and well presented, notwithstanding the controversial nature of the subject.

The Self-Creating Universe

This book is fascinating, educational and a must-read for anyone who wonders about the universe.

A renaissance philosopher

Dr. Alkek has written a philosophical overview of our complex existence that synthesizes the wisdom of the of the preceding two millennia. He raises intriguing ideas about how we came to be and even more excitingly where we may be going. It is obvious that he put a lot of time and effort into researching this short treatise. the writing style is very enjoyable: it frequently draws images in my minds eye about the universe, our galaxy and our history on Mother Gaia. This book arose out lectures delivered to a philosophical society and I would love to hear those lectures as the books illuminates a sharp and flexible mind behind it. A great read for all and uplifting experience. Bravo!
