Chillingly Descriptive

I'm naturally drawn to thrillers and have read many, this is one I found myself getting chills from. The descriptions are vivid without being graphic, leaving just enough to the reader's imagination for a haunting visual. The storyline is intriguing and I never felt like I needed to skim in order for it to move more quickly or that there were any gaps that the author did not cover. Definitely pick up this book, although you may want to read it during daylight hours....

Captivating...need I say more?

I normally do not pick up books in this type of genre, but found myself unable to put the book down. How the writer was able to keep me interested in this subject matter is beyond me, as light reading is typically what I enjoy. This is not light reading. The intricate details into each of the main characters, what motivates them, how they deal with everything from mild stress to the obvious strain of the situation at hand was mind-boggling. I found myself cringing with each crunching testicle (and I don't even have them). I found myself silently crying with each innocent life lost. I found myself gasping in horror at the pictures etched in my brain by the descriptive details the author gave (and the people on the plane next to me jumping when I did so). I found myself hungry for more and rushing to the end to find out how the puzzle unfolded. I hope to read many more novels by Mr. Tweedy. He is a true talent.

Engaging Novel, The Seeing

The Seeing is a sensory experience, rich in descriptions of characters, time and place. This reader was left considering the resiliency of children and, later, adults who have suffered early childhood abuse from peers and parents. Why do some flourish despite their early experiences whilst others are forever damaged? The polarity between the two main characters and their own fathers is interesting in that those relationships have a significant impact on their beliefs about the value of others. The Seeing is a fine novel.

Excellent

I picked up this book out of curiosity. While it's not the type of book I am usually interested in, I just couldn't put it down. Tweedy tells a fascinating tale. The way he intricately weaves many storylines together kept me glued to this book. The characters are given colorful descriptions and much attention is given to the details. I would definately recommend this book.

A freaky, dark, "red" thriller!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Although a bit of a skeptic about extra-sensory phenomena, I found myself truly believing it is possible. The characters are fully developed and almost endearing, especially Bennett. I found myself becoming his cheerleader. The darkness of Bennett's alter-ego, Cade, is bone-chilling. There is such rich, descriptive detail in this novel that it never left me with unanswered questions. This story is interestingly laid out. It is important to read each word because significance can come with just one word. Although there is a truly dark aspect to this book, there are certainly light and uplifting sides as well. I really loved the diaglog. It was completely believable. If you enjoy a suspenseful thriller, you won't be able to put this book down.
