Her untimely death raised questions as to which country's intelligence service was responsible for her death; the Chinese because Louise had shot to death Sunja Lee, Director of the China Intelligence Service, or the Russians due to Louise and the DGSE's direct involvement in the defection of a Moscow University scientist and her husband, that resulted in the death of three FSB agents and the apprehension of a Russian double-agent. What was unknown to the DGSE and the CIA, was the formulation by the Russian FSB of a diabolical plan to penetrate the internal security of the United States and establish an influential mole within the head its government, which commenced with the elimination of Louise Caron-Dubois.
