The secrets to renewing your mind is something that is to be applied on a continual basis. It is not just "hearing it once" and thinking that: "Oh, now I know, and I can continue with my life. Now I have the information so I am a better believer now."

That's not how this works.

We as believers must or rather need to apply these secrets daily. It has liberated me from things that I never even thought I needed to be aware of or freed from. So when you apply these secrets consistently over a long period of time it will become your way of living and that will bring liberty to you. God intended this process for us so that we can be conformed to the image of His dear Son (Romans 8:29), Jesus Christ.
