The Secrets Around Adonis is an endlessly entertaining 14 chapter book of urban poetry that focuses on the story behind the failed long distance relationship between Dexter Avery and his once companion Jocelyn that resulted in a newborn baby boy, Adonis. Not too long ago Dexter was in a long distance relationship with a woman from Savannah Georgia named Jocelyn who only four months after their breakup all alone gave birth to Dexter's newborn son Adonis Avery. As expected with Dexter's life being based in New York City it's been difficult for Dexter to both meet and see his newborn son beyond merely a single photo sent to him by Jocelyn three months after Adonis was born. Due to her broken heart and growing frustration with Dexter's decision to end their long distance relationship, Jocelyn decides that Dexter is unwort y of being in Adonis's life and refuses to allow Dexter to meet or ever see his son. In response to this, Dexter grows frustrated with Jocelyn's agenda to keep his son away from him and decides to make an unannounced trip to Savannah Georgia in hopes of finally meeting his son. However, upon arriving in Savannah many hidden truths about both Dexter's and Jocelyn's well kept Secrets Around Adonis are quickly revealed.
