Dreary.......story line......and....the character named Leo, a six year old boy that comes into the ice cream shop on nearly a daily basis.....without supervision.....and not one of the main characters.....thinks to find out why this child is unaccompanied(especially Marnie, the owner of the shop, a mother herself!?)....whether fiction or not.......in today's day and age it is plain negligent and dangerous on the parent's part to allow his/her child to roam the streets of this small town.....small town, mid town, city.....doesn't matter....its child endangerment. Seriously.....the main characters did not think to contact the child's school to find out who the parent is?! They didn't think to ask one of the residents of the town?! And....feeding him food(ice cream or anything for that matter!) not knowing if this child had allergies of any sort?! Ridiculous!
Ok book
