The Secret sisters is an epic tale and continuum to the Dondorale Saga that combines elements of supernatural horror, urban fantasy, and cosmic intrigue. It follows the adventures of Dondorale, a cambion superhero with spider-like abilities, as she navigates a city teetering on the brink of collapse due to the destabilization of the Veil-a mystical barrier between dimensions. As the Veil fractures, monstrous entities seep into the world, forcing Dondorale and her allies to confront ancient evils, personal demons, and a vast conspiracy that threatens to unravel reality itself.
The story is set primarily in the dark, sprawling city of Homer's Haven, a historical port metropolis with a mix of gothic Victorian architecture and futuristic neon skyscrapers. At the city's heart lies the remnants of a forgotten magic that once kept the Veil intact. Surrounding the city are portals and tear points where the Veil is weakest, often guarded by otherworldly creatures. The world beyond the Veil, known as the Netherrealm, is a place of chaos, filled with twisted landscapes and incomprehensible horrors.
