Blessings Far Exceeding Your Level to Comprehend

There a three main points to the five chapters of this rather short book: 1.) Most believers don't move beyond having a burning heart for God and having the more rewarding and blessed experience of God revealing Himself to us in our prayers; 2.) The practice of the presence of God and the revealing gifts it brings; and 3.) Knowing the true mystery of the Cross. Surely the Cross is our salvation but, more importantly, it is also our sanctification, victory and refuge in a world where we the believer found ourselves living in but not being of it. These three points Andrew Murray keeps driving home to the reader in a style that is uniquely his. Although "The Secret of Spiritual Strength" is a short book (92 pages), don't let that lead you into thinking it's an easy read or is an indication of the level of impact it will have on you as a Christian. Without a doubt, the reader will find the need to read, re-read and yet re-read it again. I can't image that I'll ever be "finished" with reading it, knowing the wonderful blessings from God it brings when incorporating the principles it ascribes.
