A powerful work from Pullman

This is the book that introduced me to the wonderful world of His Dark Materials. This book CHANGED MY LIFE!! Now, this experience is not necessarily an expectation that I would set for this read. This book brought me into the light. I have always had a very narrow and work related avenue in regards to book choice. The Secret Commonwealth was the first truly enjoyable and “other worldly” experience I have had in reading. I am forever grateful for this book and to, Sir Philip Pullman.
