The beautiful city of Venice is suddenly transformed into a danger zone of terror, as a Secret Service agent must protect the vacationing--and unsuspecting--Vice President and his family from an assassin's bullet. But peril lurks around every corner, and the real threat comes from the least likely suspect of all.
I love this book, and the only reason why i got this book is b/c i had read double identity, another one of zettler's books. That one is incredible and so is this one. Joe Bradlee is one of those characters you want to be. I think Zettler kinda glamorizes the FBI and agencies like the CIA. The whole way he describes the agents and how things proceed, he acts like he was James Bond once in his life. These book put me in a mood as only a few others have in my life where i feel as though i would love to have a career that invovles danger and espionage. I don't think this one was as good as Double Identity but I recommend for all espionage readers to go out and get this one. Some of the French dialogue can slow the reading but it doesn't screw you off the book plot and events taking place. On the real, go cop it.~Special K
