The Second Light Trilogy: The First Silence
The final door was never meant to open.
After the false light, after the counterfeit heaven, after the world nearly surrendered itself to a mercy without edges, something deeper begins to move beneath sleep.
It does not come as a god.
It does not come as a monster.
It comes as rest.
Across hospitals, hospices, recovery houses, bedrooms, and dying rooms, people begin entering impossible places while they sleep. Rooms built from grief. Doors shaped by longing. Loved ones waiting exactly where the heart needs them to be.
But Dr. Kaia Morwyn knows the truth.
A room can be beautiful and still be a prison.
As Deep Heaven spreads beneath waking consciousness, Kaia, Tamsin, Seraphine, Pell, Anouk, Evan, Dusk, and the broken remnants of those who survived the previous books must face the most dangerous question of all:
What if salvation itself must ask permission?
In this haunting final volume of The Second Light Trilogy, grief, love, memory, consent, death, and divine silence collide in a battle not for the soul's obedience, but for its right to refuse.
Because true love does not force reunion.
True mercy does not erase pain.
And the First Silence is not empty.
It is the sacred boundary before anything may claim you.
