Not as good as the actual novel

The art was really beautiful but the writing left a lot to be desired. I understand that it is a graphic novel so they have to cut down the dialogue, but it felt like the story was cut down so much. I feel like they could have made it a little longer and it would have helped the fact that it felt so disconnected.
