Do yourself a favor and read the actual book

Honestly it's more like you are reading the same thing that happens in the movie than in the book. Lots of huge pieces of the story is left out this way. I'd say read the book or grab an audio book if you want the real Percy Jackson Lighting Thief

Not as good as the actual novel

The art was really beautiful but the writing left a lot to be desired. I understand that it is a graphic novel so they have to cut down the dialogue, but it felt like the story was cut down so much. I feel like they could have made it a little longer and it would have helped the fact that it felt so disconnected.
