London architect Kate Benedict is off to a glamorous weekend party in Scotland at the once grand home of her boyfriend's uncle. Fergus's castle, complete with ghostly characters from the past and a creepy, closed-off wing, houses a vaguely menacing assortment of servants, locals and dodgy guests, and is wrapped in mysteries as thick as the Scottish fog.
