The Science Of Success Achievement Course (Successercising) by Rick Gettle The title of my review - taken from the tagline of the book - more or less sums up what this book is all about. In a nutshell, it's the work-book version of the famed landmark guide known as the 'Law of Success' by Napolean Hill. The author, with an apparently extensive experience in selling, advertising, promotion & marketing, also happened to be associated with Nightingale Conant, Napolean Hill Academy & Success Unlimited (precursor to Success) magazine. He had in fact developed the workshop in the seventies in conjunction with a distributorship from Napolean Hill. He had even created club-membership for his workshop graduates as a networking (mastermind alliance) experiment. In reality, this was the work-book that went with the workshop. [Personally, I am not too sure whether the lessons offered in the workshop & illustrated in the work-book are replicated from the sixteen lessons as originally formulated by Napolean Hill in the latter's teaching programs.] For readers who have encountered some problems in implementing the principles from the 'Law of Success' & /or 'Think & Grow Rich', I reckon this work-book will be extremely useful for creating do-able activities to go with the original seventeen principles of success summarised by Napolean Hill. There are close to 400 pages in the work-book. It's also printed in a large book format. The reflective questions & doable activities have been well-crafted by the author. The explanations are clear & succinct. The instructions are also easy to follow. From what I know, the author currently has a website (successercising) that still offers the workshop as an online option. Participants can sign up the online workshop in a break-down format according to nine degrees or levels. Nevertheless, I have enjoyed reading - as well as plorking through - the work-book. [For the uninitiated, plorking is playing & working.]
