Selling Christinity In The Name Of Science

It's important to recognize that Christianity, as a faith tradition centered on spiritual beliefs and moral teachings, does not adhere to the same methodologies or objectives as the scientific endeavor. While Christianity offers explanations for existential questions and moral guidance, its narratives and doctrines are not subject to empirical testing or verification in the same way as scientific hypotheses. Rather, Christianity operates within a framework of faith, revelation, and interpretation of sacred texts, which are distinct from the empirical observations, experimentation, and peer review characteristic of scientific inquiry. Therefore, while Christianity may offer insights into aspects of human experience and the divine, it does not adhere to the principles of scientific inquiry and is not intended to provide explanations for natural phenomena in the same manner as science

Interesting

I grew up in Christian Science and left it when my sister lost her life to it. This book represents a gentler form of New Thought. Ernest Holmes was a student of Christian Science but saw the inherent dilemma in CS and urged a less radical and therefore less dangerous approach to the principles that Mrs. Eddy espoused. It is a point of view that should be well taken.

World Changing! Life Changing!

This book is one that I think everyone should read. The message that the book presents about the power that each person possesses to make their life whatever they want to be, the message about the true nature of each human being, and the message about love that are in the pages of this book can revolutionize the world.
