The very best book on Classification and basic science for your children (and maybe for yourself!)

I first found this little gem when my daughter was about 7 years old, in our second year of homeschooling. She's now almost 14, and we STILL haul this beloved book out every year to review the font of valuable information, so eloquently and simply expressed by the author. I am incredibly grateful to have had the advantage of having this valuable work at our elbow these many years, as a source of basic science concepts. It has sent us spinning out on so many delightful explorations of knowledge and has been a source for avid learning. I expect I'll be using it with my grandchildren some day!
