Scholastic Integrated Language Arts Resource Book

Beginning a new year is as exciting and nerve-tingling for a teacher as for her students. This author has compiled pages of suggestions, reproducibles, sample work, and lesson plans that help ease the anxiety of a classroom teacher. Small groupings, large group, thematic and literature-based suggestions are all found within the text. The author includes a professional resource book list and a bibliography for further independent researching. I enjoyed reading and using this volume, and searched for the next grade level's compilation. While K-2 is unfortunately the only grade segment available, the book is great resource for all teachers.
