I haven't been in high school for 8years and this book totally refreshed ( & probably even taught) me on 95% of what appeared on the SAT. Get this book if you need to know HOW to do the problems. Get another book or look online if you want to know about the extremely debated "techniques" for improving your scores based on not what you know, but on how you alocate your time during the test.
The best of a bad bunch!

This book really exceeds what has come to be a disappointing reputation for SAT study guides. Because the SAT tends to be very complicated and detailed as an exam and so most study guides tend to almost TRY to reflect this in the complex layout of their books. This study guide is different from all the rest, as it has a simple layout, a brief introduction with some oh-so-useful tips for both English and Math sections and then it divides each English section into the 3 sections within it (1 analogies; 1 definitions; 1 sentence completion etc) and the same with the Math. After each of the 6 sections it has practice questions. Then at the end it has 3 practice SAT papers. This is great; it's really well laid out and it's concise. There's no complicated language to get past from the author (the SAT's language is difficult enough!) and it's not as bulky and long and off-putting as other SAT guides, which are often more difficult than the exam itself. If you need a top grade, there's no book better than this one.
THE BEST BOOK FOR THE SAT's

This is an absolute MUST for anyone who will be taking the SAT's... its fun and easy to read. I read it the first time in less than 24 hours. Then I read it several more times and memorized parts of it. Her tips and tricks are great when there is "1 minute to pencils down." This book not only taught me a thing or two, it calmed my nerves and improved my score almost 200 points. I took the SAT's 4 years ago and I recommend this book to everyone that asks how I got a 1500... Good Luck. Thanks Suzee!
This one is THE BEST!

If I could only use one book to prepare for the SAT, it'd be this one. Suzee does an excellent job of incorporating fun along with study. I'd recommend this to anyone who's taking the SAT!P.S. Did anyone notice that the word 'succeeded' was spelled wrong on the back cover? You know what they say...don't judge a book by the cover!
An extraordinary test-preb guide!

The SAT I for Dummies is the best test-prep book I have seen! This book makes studying for the SAT fun. Like the cover says, it only has what you need to know to succeed. No fillers were put in here so it would look bigger and eye-pleasing like some of the other books. If you want the best advice and studying strategies, plus laughs during preparation, then SAT I for Dummies is for you! It is certainly helping me in achieving my goals (1500+).
