In 1877 a Texas Ranger's wife, Susanna, is kidnapped and held hostage by a Confederate Major intent on avenging his son's brutal death at the hands of her father during the Civil War at the Battle of Middle Boggy, near Atoka, OK. The Ranger goes AWOL into Indian Territory searching for her. His Captain sends a feckless, rookie Ranger after him and puts out a reward for his capture. Fighting outlaws, Comanches and bounty hunters of all sorts, he, along with his war horse Dakota, must rescue Susanna before she gets trafficked into prostitution and slavery.
