Christina M Castro has been writing poetry since the age eleven, and her first children's story, a school assignment, was written at the age of thirteen. In her creative writing class in junior year, she was given an assignment to write a story which was about her pet kittens. At that point she was inspired, hoping to publish one day her children's stories. This is the first time being a published illustrator. Her writing accomplishments are three poetry books, Hopes Dreams and Spiritual Fulfilment, Words from a Missionary's Heart and Confronting Deception. Her first novel is called Living through the Metamorphosis.
