A piece of NC history

The Sand Castle: Blockade Running and the Battle of Fort Fisher is a good book to use to teach the difference between fact and fiction. Sarah, Jamie, and Rob are Civil War reenactors who travel through time to actual Civil War battles. This is the only young adult novel I found that discusses the battle of Fort Fisher in North Carolina. For the most part, the history is accurate and presented in such a way that it makes learning interesting.
