I couldn’t put it down!

This well-written biography about Gavin Maxwell written by a close friend and an excellent author—is just an outstanding read…if you loved the Ring of Bright Water Trilogy …you will appreciate the many interesting details about Gavin Maxwell and how he came to live, love and lose; such a character, it’s surprising a movie or tv limited series hasn’t been created—enough adventure, tragedy and beautiful descriptions of the wonderful/ heart-rending relationships with otters and the Scotland Highlands. Will make you want to put a trip to Sandig on your bucket list.
