The Runaway Game

Computer prodigy Marvin Foster, a sixteen-year-old game designer, is recruited by the government to help stop a runaway game that is destroying large sections of the earth. Under the direction of General George Campbell, Marvin and his adult associates also need to find the madman who launched the game. Unfortunately, all they have to go on is the screen name E1brad6L. As the destruction spreads it causes a tense situation between Russia and the United States. Time is not on their side.

Over the course of three weeks, the team of experts travels from Toronto to New York, then to Miami, winding up in the Florida Keys. Every attempt to stop the game is stymied by the built-in AI security code.

But the biggest surprise comes when they finally meet the mad genius who designed the game.
