When a duck lays her eggs on the playground of DeWitt School, the kids are delighted. But one egg has rolled out of the nest, down the hill, and is now resting at the edge of the drivewayand the mother duck wont let anyone near it! The children in Miss Reeds second grade class know all about eggs. They have been incubating 12 chicken eggs in their classroom, and they know that if Mrs. Ducks egg doesnt get returned to the nest soon, it wont survive. Can the kids hatch a plan to save the day?
