Lost? Ask Arthur Dent, He knows what lost is!

The Rough Guide To Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxay The phenomena that `was', `is', and shall be for a long time, was the product of an earth creature (Earth 1), named Douglas Adams. Surprisingly, the book that his universe spanning adventure spawned, was also a Guide of sorts and described Earth as `Mostly Harmless', which was an improvement in the entry. Now, Marcus o'Dair, has delved into the 30 year old genre begun by a testy, witty, intelligent, deadline missing, earth writer with passion, and only a little bit of tea to soothe himself with. The result is a charming edition that might be a `rough' guide, except for the fact that any self respecting reader of the `slightly inaccurate trilogy in six parts' should own, and put right beside his towel. To misquote a famous author whose name escapes me, "I read, I saw, and listened to the radio play". The Guide to the Guide covers the following: A slightly Improbable story We've Met Before The Hitchhiikers Universe The Science Adams...Mostly Harmless The Radio Series The Books Stage Productions Television The Movie Other Incarnations Is there enough detail for the rabidly obsessed Guide fan? Perhaps. Are there enough pictures? Never! Does it leave you wanting more? `Rough' Guide is truly accurate. This book will force you to go through your Adams collection and sit once more with Arthur Dent, Trillian, Ford Prefect, Zaphod Beeblebrox, the mice, Fenchurch, and some wise guy who owns a cat. Excellent product for the newbie Guide fan, if they exist. Until Arthur discovers why God made Babel fish, I remain, Lost in the universe! Tim Lasiuta www.
