The Rosary in Scripture

The Rosary in Scripture is not an attempt to "prove" that the Rosary is in scripture as the title would indicate. Nor is it a lengthy "Scriptural Rosary." It is, however, a scriptural study program that uses something that all Catholics (and many non-Catholics) are familiar with, the Rosary. Written as a "first-time" scripture study program, it is well suited for the "seasoned" student also. This study program is unique in the respect that all the student needs to study is included this book. Scripture passages with applicable commentary from several sources are provided along with relevant paragraphs from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC). Each mystery of the Rosary is discussed with probing questions to ensure understanding of the lesson but also to encourage the student to examine their own Christian lives. Following this program will introduce the student to scriptural study and what "tools" are available to assist in understanding scripture. By including paragraphs from the CCC it will enhance the knowledge of Church teachings.
