Victor Marchetti was neither English teacher nor professional writer. He was a CIA spook. The real deal. When one reads of hits by what appears to be a mugger but for a professionally-silenced handgun, on a Washington, D.C. street, when there is an intelligence motive, consider that is how its done in the real world. "The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence by Marchetti and Marks" is an important book, if one reads between the lines-- those blacked-out portions redacted by The Agency for "national security."
