This little text is a work by Helena Blavatsky, partially linguistic in form, comparing some Christian traditions with those of the Freemasons and of Eastern groups, again partly in the basis of word similarity. It contains an entire section of footnotes to further explain some of the content, and is altogether well made, albeit outshined (somewhat undeservingly) by some of Blavatskys' other titles. The importance of this kind of linguistic analysis on what would become Theosophy cannot be overstated- such mystic analysis is indeed the primary progenitor of the entire concept.
