EVERY time we go to the library my son wants it again...

I agree with the first reviewer... i don't know why this book is out of print, but i'm glad we can find it at the library...There are many similair stories, but...I do really like this one the best (as does my 5 year old son since he was almost 2!) and the pictures are really nice too. I don't know why he likes it so much, but he has a thing for roosters, so...that is one big draw and the story is good!
A Charming Story for Rooster Fans

I can't believe that this book is out of print. It was such a charming story that I practically forced my mother to read it and she hates it when I push anything onto her simply because I like it. She isn't "into" children's books like I am but even she admitted that it was a good story. I love the story and Thor Wickstrom's illustrations are an excellent companion to the text.
