From Harlequin Heartwarming: Wholesome stories of love, compassion and belonging. The Rocking Chair RanchBook 1: The Rodeo Cowboy's Return
I received this book as an ARC with no expectations of a positive review. Everett comes back to Wickenburg after vowing never to return. His grandfather had summoned him home. After all the painful memories, regrets and guilt, Everett had avoided coming home. How could he face Macy? He did not keep his promise nor had he kept in contact with her in three years. What was he doing here?
This is a story about hope, redemption, and set backs. Can Everett and Macy overcome the pain and guilt of the past to start new.
This is a wonderful book that I enjoyed reading.
A story filled with emotions
Published by Carolyn Frazier , 1 year ago
This story has all the feels - grief, anger, sorrow, guilt, joy, laughter, doubt, and more. Join Everett Owen's and Macy Sommers as they work through their history and respective feelings to make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives as well as the lives of others.
Can Macy trust Everett again after he abandoned her before? Will Everett be able to give up rodeo, and settle down to save his grandfather's ranch? Is it possible for Macy and Everett to get past all of their issues and find love together? To find out, be sure to read this well-written, tender journey.
I definitely recommend this book. I received an advance copy to read and all thoughts expressed are my own. Cathy McDavid was a new-to-me author but I will be reading more by her.
