This new whimsical collection of verse sees birds and other small creatures through a child's eyes in the morning. Then at noon, we are challenged to stay strong for the steep roads we must run in the heat of the day. The final section walks through the struggles as well as the hope God gives us in old age. Our walk with God leads from sunrise to evening shadows. Skipping along with Jesus in the morning, changes to pacing ourselves in a race at noon. Yet even in the heat of the mid-day sun, He comes alongside, urging us to run our best. When the cooler breezes of evening blow, it is not time to slack off or give in to weariness. The finish line is almost in sight Here, we discover that His promise that He would never leave or forsake us is true and that He always will be with us on the road that leads us home
