Synopsis- Luise is a newly formed young delegate, sent to take over a police station in Manaus, when she arrives in the city she faces a series of crimes, women's bodies are found without eyes on the Rio Negro.As she begins to conduct investigations she realizes that the police are not giving importance to the investigations, the press reports nothing about the crimes and the population is not frightened.A journalist warns Luise that similar crimes had happened before about sixty years ago.Chapter 14"I hope you do have some important information, or I may be punished for speaking with you." - The journalist pulls a folder and opens it. Look at yourself.A very old newspaper clipping is protected under plastic.(WOMAN IS FOUND DEAD FROM THE RIVERS OF THE RIVER) JULY 1965. Coroner says that woman was drowned and had a disfigured face. (Woman's body is found floating on the Negro River) June 1965. Police believe it is the action of a serial killer.-This report is from an Acre newspaper. Paul says."My God, this is not possible, how did you not warn me about it?" Luise speaks in amazement.-I had already found out in a college research on these crimes, when I saw some people comment when the first body was found I started following up on the case. -Says the impatient journalist.
