This is the first book that I've read from this author. I was especially impressed at how you help Jeneva find love after harboring 14 years of bitterness and hate. Mecan was just the right man to help her with that. I also love the fact that you allowed Mecan to love Quincy first before the mother. He took ownership over his well being. I felt that Deborah pulled each of her characters personalities out where you could just feel what each person was feeling at that time. Good work Deborah, I really enjoyed reading this book.
