Liam Evans, who holds the chair of Classical and Modern Philosophy at the locat
university, decides, after the death of his mother, to spend a month at his
mountain cottage, six hours east of his hometown. The isolation will help him
rest and allow him to finish a thesis he is preparing on the subject of philosophy
in the age of artificial intelligence.
Sandra Livingston, a college philologist in her hometown, also sets of for a
three-day stay at her mountain house, located three hours west of where she lives.
Their meeting will inevitably trigger a series of chain reactions that go beyond
the imagination.
In a climate of mystery, each person does everything possible to bring the
desired end to the unpredictable situation that has arisen. But external factors
that none of them can control drive the drivers into a frantic chase for the
inevitable.
