The Richest Man Who Ever Lived

I believe we all find ourselves at crossroads looking for answers. I found them in this book. It helped to link my professional life with a meaningfull spiritual one. Its a great book that I've shared with family and friends.

Holiday or any day reading

This book helped me to realign my compass. Nick Bucci's account of his life is authentic and I could relate to the experiences which he describes. I felt that the effort to give credit for his successes in life to others who preceeded him and most especially to God was refreshing. In many ways it is a handbook for finding the presence of God in your life each day. It is sure to enrich the life of anybody who is searching for their path to God.

Nick Bucci Writes on the Spiritual Life from a Lay Perspective

The Richest Person Who Ever Lived By Nicholas W. Bucci, Jr. What is unique about Nick Bucci's book is that it is written by a lay person, instead of a priest or religious, and is grounded in the ordinary everyday life of the laity. In Part One, "The Journey," Nick generously shares with us his own ups and downs in the business world and in his personal relationship with God. Out of those experiences Nick slowly came to realize that the greatest gift he has is God's constant presence within him, supporting and guiding him through all the events and decisions of each day. Whoever comes to recognize God's own gift of himself also becomes the "Richest Person Who Ever Lived." Part Two, "Ideas to Help You Discover Your Riches," and Part Three, "Guidelines for Living a Productive Life," comes right out of Nick's calling. He was educated as an engineer, someone who figures out how to make things work. He spent twenty-two happy years honing his skills at Westinghouse in Lima, Ohio, followed by years of training others in organizing for success in business or similar enterprises. Nick's book is a how-to manual: for example, how to know who you really are, how to make prayer an everyday event, how to be God's gift to others, and how to develop an attitude of gratitude. In the appendix he pays tribute to his mother's role in shaping his life and this book by quoting her favorite prayers, meditations and Scripture readings.

The Richest Person Who Ever Lived

I found the book relevant particularly for those in the "middle class" who feel disenfranchised. The book brings contemporary reality together with a search for meaning and God in ourlives.

Very inspiring!!

In the reading this book it made me realize just how we need to believe and more importantly to know that there is someone with us all the time. Through the good times/the bad and the indifferent. In dedicating your life to that truth everything is possible and everything will be so much better. It will bring such a peace to you. Very inspiring! Well worth the time to read!
