Catherine returns to her 35th high school reunion only to find that her old boy friend, Van, wants to see her. Though they haven't seen each other since high school, he has been carrying a torch for her all of these years. He is anxious to see her and the reunion provides the opportunity to renew old memories and feelings. One evening turns out to be more than either one of them expected. Van has some issues that he and Catherine begin to work through but the deep affection for each other, they hope, will help them to be strong.
