a very thought-provoking book

“The Return of Christopher Marlowe” presents many diverse pieces of evidence that deliver a compelling argument to support the theory of who Shakespeare really was. The author lays out many well-researched and documented facts that, when taken individually may not persuade readers but, when considered together, paint a very convincing picture. Beyond the Shakespeare issue, the book is extremely relevant in showing the far-reaching effects of any government sponsored disinformation campaigns, including those happening today. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I'm not a big Shakespeare fan; I likely would have enjoyed it a bit more if I had been more knowledgeable about Shakespeare works.
