Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
So begins the sermon on the mount, considered to be the greatest source of biblical wisdom and truth ever delivered. Jesus began this sermon with a handful of verses called the beatitudes. Within these few verses awaits the key to unlock what it means to be a Christ follower.
Pride, hypocrisy, disconnection and many more character defects of leadership are revealed when we are met with difficulties. By allowing the gospel to serve as a mirror, we can accurately identify out enemy: the self.
Unless we commit to addressing the disease of self, we cannot expect to fulfill the great commission and become an effective servant leader.

The Resistance made its leap from a small Saturday morning support group to the publishing world in late Fall 2018. Its' one and only purpose was to transform men and women into powerful, Christ following leaders for not only today, but for the future.

We all are stretched thin with the many demands and daily operational needs. Our relationships become strained, our joy withers up and before long we revert to autopilot just to get through the day at work and at home.
