The story of Jesus ministry from the viewpoint of Matthais, the apostle who took the place of Judas.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Replacement. Ron Lazenby takes you on a journey with the disciples and the followers of their Messiah. The story begins at about the time of Jesus’ baptism until His Ascension and after. Through dialogue Lazenby incorporates the early life of Christ and how His life related to the prophetic teachings of the Old Testament. Not only the powerful, “Christ in the Passover” prophecy which is commonly known, but of many Prophets foretelling the events of Christ’s life, death and resurrection. I felt like I was right there with Matthias and the Disciples, fishing, traveling, eating their foods, observing the feast days, and witnessing the miracles and healings Jesus performed. I certainly appreciated the story told from Matthais’ point of viewpoint. It was interesting to learn about the Jewish customs and observances and nuances that were an important part of the story. We’ll done. I Enjoyed the book thoroughly.
