A psychological thriller that surfaced when Tillie walked away from a 30-year career. An unexpected cashflow problem soon found her working numerous part time jobs, while going to school at night to obtain a nurse's assistant position (a calling she'd ignored all her life). Burning the candle at both ends wasn't solving the problem, so she considered taking in a renter. Tillie was instantly plunged into a world of dysfunctional family relations, elder abuse and mind games. Struggling between what was real and what was imagined, she was led on a dangerous pursuit. Her desire to help the elderly woman while reminding herself she was just the landlord, tore at her heart, frayed her nerves and instilled a fear she'd not known before. She was in over her head but determined to see it through, no matter how it ended. Finally, a solution presents itself, and with a small window of opportunity Tillie made a desperate attempt to move the renter to a place where she could be safe from her own family. But would it be too late?
