Rembrandt

This is a great art lovers story as well as historical fiction. The author can not help but bring politics, actual historical events, such as Nazi Germany in the 40's, how art was traded, stolen, lost for generations, as people were. The readers who do not want to read anything about reality, political climate past or present, should stick with Romance novels which are based on fantasy. Silva is a wonderful writer and denying events which have actually happened past or present is a problem with Conservative thinking.
